Quantum Living
I have been listening to The Divine Matrix by Gregg Braden. It ended this morning on the final principle:
“We must become in our lives the very things that we choose to experience in our world.”
I am landing on the word choose in this, because that is where belief sits. It asks for awareness and conscious attention.
When we are conscious, we can create. For example, I choose to experience freedom, no matter the external conditions. If I choose freedom, then I am free. Anything we want, we already have, because the moment we place attention on it, it exists in us.
Earlier this year I went through a depression, or maybe it was simply the full weight of grief. At that time, getting out of bed and getting the kids to school was all I had energy for. It was emotional and mental, and I now understand how physical that is too.
One morning I was looking out the window and saw this moment, the time in which I was better and teaching, I saw myself share:
“This was a time that was really hard, but I got through it, and this is how.”
At that point I did not know how yet. I had no steps or plan. But the details did not matter. What mattered was the belief that there would be a time when I could say that.
Looking back, I can see that this belief was the work. The belief in another time, a lighter time, created a little lightness even inside the dark. That is the how.
Once there is belief in a future moment of service, we start making small choices that point towards it. Those choices change our experience. Over time, they change who we are.
