Resilience in Practice

I cycled across Australia solo and set the Guinness World Record for the fastest woman to do it. The achievement wasn't about athletic ability; it was about the specific, practical principles of resilience I teach today:

  • Clarity under pressure: Making sound decisions at 4am when exhausted

  • Sustainable performance: Managing physical and mental resources across 8,000+ km

  • Psychological safety: Building trust with my support team and managing team dynamics under stress

  • Adaptation: Solving problems in real-time without shutting down

    MAP TEAM INSIGHTS

    In partnership between ISMOTION and Lynxx, we created MAP, a diagnostic on team health, it identifies where performance can be lifted. I integrated the social science methodology as the system foundation. Team playbook outlines four pillars of high-performing teams.

This work has shaped how I think about cultural resilience, organisational change, and systems thinking. I bring this cross-cultural intelligence to help organizations understand their assumptions and design more adaptive systems. The principles of resilience that work in crisis settings are exactly what we need in navigating AI, scaling, and complexity.
